Overview
The AFROFIX riser clamp supports and stabilises vertical pipe runs from 1/2" (15 mm) to 24" (600 mm), and is FM Approved for sizes 2" to 8". Its long wings carry the riser's load onto the floor or ceiling slab, and it is ideally installed below a coupling hub or welded shear lugs.
Riser clamps are made in Egypt from A36 carbon steel, plain, zinc plated or hot-dip galvanized, for fire-fighting risers and vertical plumbing and HVAC pipework.

Features
- The riser clamp is preferably installed below a coupling hub or field welded shear lugs
- The riser clamp has long wings to transfer the riser's load to the floor or to the ceiling
- Rounded ends provide greater safety for personnel
- A PVC lining can be used to prevent contact between the pipe & the clamp (in the case of copper pipes)

- Meets the Manufacturers Standardization Society MSS SP-58 Type 8 and NFPA 13

- The FM approved sizes are 2" to 8" only
